This month I want to share a very special piece of art. After my mom and dad passed away, I stumbled across the picture below of my parents.  I remembered my mom saying this photo of her and my dad was one of her favorites.  As soon as I saw the photograph I knew I would paint it one day. This wonderful black and white photo speaks so beautifully about the journey of love and of life. Team mates and life-partners.  Linked-arms wearing baseball caps made me think of the game of life with two team members bringing their best to the game.  Sometimes winning, sometimes losing, sometimes a home-run, sometimes-three outs, the ups and the downs, but still standing together cheering each other on.  Everything I am I owe to these two people who also cheered for me, they gave me their best, they never quit the game.
