"A Ride in the Country"

60th Anniversary celebration, Germantown Charity Horse Show-"The Horses are Coming, the Horses are Coming"  What an amazing event this was! Perfection in every way!  Thank you Germantown Charity Horse Show for the memories of this event!  In this picture after working steady for 6 weeks, my design was complete!  My husband, Tim helps load the sculpture to be taken to the arena!  When I saw all the horses for the first time at the unveiling, it took my breath away, they were all so beautiful!

"Winter Solstice"-Festival of Trees

LeBonheur-TWIGS at the Pink Palace

"Winter Solstice"

It was a joy to create this tree design for Lebonheur Children's Medical Center-TWIGS Annual Fundraiser!

And it was a fun challenge to try to create many of the ornaments by hand!

This event is held each year at the Pink Palace Museum.  It's an event I look forward to attending each year to get into the holiday spirit!  Rows of decorated trees, hot cocoa, music, dancing, gingerbread houses and a trip to visit Santa too!

I've participated as a tree designer many years and absolutely love this fundraiser!

"Art is a Rainbow"-Festival of Trees

"Art is a Rainbow" was the theme I chose for my first tree design for TWIGS!  Loved creating this for the children of Lebonheur! Trees are decorated during the holiday season to raise awareness and funds for Lebonheur Children's Medical Center!  Original theme with hand-made ornaments!

A wonderful, fun event!

This one received an "Honorable Mention Ribbon"! Sponsored by Judy and Mickey McClelland

""Tennesse Wildlife"

This was such a special art commission!  When I picked up this life-size turkey, I did go Wild!  It was a delight to paint this turkey, he became like family to us!   To participate in the festivities to raise funds and awareness for the conservation of our natural resources in Tennessee is still a special memory!  This is the side-view of the sculpture I painted, featuring the Smoky Mountains and the wild-life, streams, waterfalls and nature found in the area!

If only tulips grew this big!

"Hope House Lodge Fundraiser"

Its wonderful to gather in a group with a shared goal!  Artists from the area gathered to provide art pieces to fill the walls of Hope House Lodge!  Held at The Painted Pigeon-with The Olive Branch Arts Council hosting!

A fun-filled night of painting!

"Hope House Lodge Paint Party"

Painted Pigeon Group Fundraiser

"Celebration of the Arts Day"

Memphis, Tennessee-City Hall

"Celebrate the Arts" -Memphis Tennessee

This was the day I finally got to meet face to face the amazing George Hunt!  When he said he liked my work, I almost fell out of my chair!  Or maybe it was the heat!  The show was in July, so very hot, but still an amazing day of sharing!  Thank you City of Memphis for hosting this wonderful event!
