September Feature Art

"Autumn's Paintbrush"

The end of summer is approaching, soon the leaves will begin to change as we move into the last months of the year.

There is something so magical about this time of year!

This month's art featuring autumn leaves will honor Keith and Margaret Kirkland, two of a very small group of founding members of The Wolf River Conservancy!   Keith and Margaret were there from the very beginning, their efforts endless in preserving the beauty of this natural resource for future generations to enjoy

AND

Sherry Weakley, a very special and outstanding educator for the WRC who took the story of the Wolf River out into the community.  Sherry took the conservation goals into schools, boardrooms,  outdoor fairs and exhibition halls giving exciting presentations that reached countless folks who would later become WRC supporters!

Sherry also guided classrooms of children and adults down the Wolf River to share its story and to explore its beauty up-close!  For many children it was their first-time experience exploring nature!

A portion of all profits from the sales of  "Autumn's Paintbrush" will be donated to

The Wolf River Conservancy in their honor and to celebrate their many contributions!
